1️⃣  PPS YARD SIGNS available April 8th @ Hilldale Food Park

Tony Morse is coordinating a PPS Bond yard sign pick-up party for next Tuesday, the 8th of April, at the Hillsdale Food Park, located at 6238 SW Capitol Hwy, Portland, OR 97239, 5:30pm to 7:30pm. 

Feel free to stop by, grab a sign, and visit a food cart!

2️⃣ Hanging Baskets for Mother's Day are here!!

Our IBW/Hayhurst flower basket fundraiser is on.  

From now until April 14th order your lovely hanging flower baskets (both sun and shade varieties available). These baskets are beautiful and delivered directly from the nursery right before Mother's Day.  Delivery is May 7th and ordering is easy and online. See the flyer for more information.

3️⃣ Seeking wine donations starting April 1st, for the IBW Auction to support the IBW PTA!

7 - 9 pm on Friday, April 25th at the Multnomah Athletic Club, we will have a Wine Wall at the Boosters' Auction where folks can purchase bottles. We are asking for wine bottles valued at $15 or more to benefit the IBW PTA. Bottles will be blinded so you may get lucky and “win” a bottle valued at $50 or more!! To arrange donation drop-offs beginning on or after April 1st, please contact Kristin Covert at idabwellspta@gmail.com. Thank you for supporting Ida B. Wells High School!

4️⃣ Let's Get Social! Come meet PTA board members and meet your IBW parent community!!

All parents are welcome to join us for a PTA Social with "Something to Talk About".  Come meet other IBW parents.  Share and learn tips from each other on things we do to stay connected with our teens.  

Meet us Wednesday, April 9, 6:30-8 pm at the Buffalo Gap, 6835 S Macadam Ave.  

Look for us in the game room!

5️⃣ PTA Members' Meeting

5:30 - 7 pm on Monday, April 21st in the IBW Library, we will discuss final preparations for the IBW Booster's Club Auction, advocacy action plans for the upcoming bond renewal vote on May 20, 2025, and hear updates on scholarships, fundraising, Grad Night and the planned PickleBall Tournament. Come hear what's going on and get involved!
