The PPS School Board needs to hear from Ida B. Wells High School families to help direct the May 2025 School Bond focus!
We need your feedback to advocate for our community! Originally, the bond was intended to help fund high school modernization projects. Projects included completing the modernization of Jefferson and starting it for Cleveland and Ida B. Wells. The PPS School Board, however, is considering including district-wide deferred maintenance and investing in other state-mandated programs and curricula, creating questions about the bond's finding priorities, inclusions, exclusions, and size and scope.
The PTA encourages you to join us in advocating directly to the Board for key bond accountabilities.
Directly contact the PPS School Board by using this email template that focuses on three high-need bond inclusions: high school modernization, athletic hubs, and expense reduction. Just download, edit, sign, and send to our district reps
